Project Overview

Our construction principals are the same for both Commercial and Domestic Pools; all of our swimming pools are constructed as permanent installations, and built to Standard Code of Practice for the Construction of Water Retaining Structures. A top quality permanent structure from a reliable established company.nnSwimming Pool Design is about creating harmony between function and aesthetics. We know it is essential that your pool looks incredible, is efficient and easy to maintain, so that even when not in use it is a positive feature of the property. Our design expertise will help you create a pool that will exceed your expectations and add value to your property

Challenges

  1. Environmental & Site Issues: Unstable soil, large rocks, or high groundwater levels can complicate excavation and increase costs, requiring soil stabilization or dewatering. Inclement weather can cause significant project delays.
  2. Structural Failures: Mistakes in laying the foundation or improper pouring of concrete can cause the pool to crack, sink, or become damaged, especially in fiberglass installations.
  3. Waterproofing Failures: A critical error is using inferior materials, failing to properly waterproof the walls and floor junctions, or only applying a single layer of waterproofing, leading to leaks.
  4. Plumbing & Electrical Hazards: Improperly designed circulation systems or improper electrical wiring can result in inefficient functionality, system malfunctions, and serious safety violations.
  5. Operational & Regulatory Delays: Long wait times for permits and inspectors can hold up projects. Inexperienced contractors may mismanage timelines, leading to unfinished projects.

Our Key Labours:

  1. Site Supervisor/Contractor: Oversees structural safety, material sourcing, scheduling, and final commissioning.
  2. Excavator Operator: Uses heavy machinery (backhoes/bulldozers) to dig according to the design and soil conditions.
  3. Steel Fixer/Rebar Worker: Installs the structural steel reinforcement framework (rebar) required for reinforced concrete (RCC) pools.
  4. Plumber: Installs pipes for filtration, circulation, drainage, and heaters.
  5. Electrician: Installs conduits, wiring for lights, pumps, and automation systems.
  6. Gunite/Shotcrete Crew: Sprays concrete to create the pool shell.
  7. Mason/Tile Setter: Applies interior finishes, including plaster, tiles, or pebble, and creates the surrounding deck.
  8. Waterproofing Specialist: Ensures the pool shell is watertight before finishing
